PURPOSES & PROGRAMMES
- NEMI is an indigenous missionary training centre which provides practical training in cross-cultural ministry skills to Africans called of God and committed to cross-cultural missionary work.
- NEMI’s training is culturally relevant within the African context and it is made affordable compared to similar schools.
- Through empowerment programmes such as the Foundation Training for Cross-Cultural Ministry (FTCM – one-year certificate), and Bachelor of Arts in Intercultural Studies (BAIS – 3 years with recognized certificate, also known as Training of Trainers, TOT), NEMI multiplies manpower to accelerate completion of the great commission among the unreached in Northern Nigeria, North Africa, and the Middle East.
- NEMI believes in the Nigeria Church’s vision 5015 and is a strategic part of it. This vision aims at recruiting, training, sending and supporting 50,000 Nigerian Christians as missionaries to the Muslim and Arab nations of the world within 15 years. (2005 – 2020).
